The blond waitress organized a table for me even though the place was packed. A lot of people seemed to be locals which tells a lot about this place in the otherwise touristy district of Plaka. The three man band playing traditional Greek music was...More

The restaurant was suggested by the concierge at the hotel. It was a perfect experience from eating outdoors to the music with guitar and bouzouki and the food was great. Really enjoyed the dolmades. My favorite two things were the lamb baked in a ceramic...More

Great food, fabulous service and delightful music. My only suggestion would be better signage in English. We we sent here by our private guide and the signage was confusing! But is was worth it!!! The tarama was the best we have ever had anywhere!!!

The a la cart menu was great with good quality ingredients. Service was prompt. Tzatziki would be a better dip with the mixed grill than tirokafteri as they served it. Live music entertainment even on a Monday!

This is the second time we ate here and found the food a great experience. Sat outside, listened to their music (there were also dancers the first time), watched some spontaneous Greeks get up and dance several times. A nice way to end out vacation.

Going to this place was like being in Athens in the 1970's. Traditional Greek food, simple and tasty. Good service. Live music. Dining under the stars. It was a great night out!

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains
the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay

pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
