Visited this restaurant on Easter weekend. Ordered a moussaka and a ghiouvechi. Mediocre dishes. Pricey for what we got. Service was ok. You could probably find a better place to eat if you research a little rather than walking into a tourist trap like us.

We had stifado, and it tasted like no cinnamon and cloves was added. Maybe not even salt. But service was great, prices ok, and the location is absolutely lovely, with lots of outdoor tables under the orange trees!

The host stopped us on the street and decided to try it. We had kabab, grilled calamari, burger, Greek salad, humus. Calamari wad so bitter I couldn't eat it. The rest was pretty much average, very average. Not planning to go back there.

Gyros and grilled calamari. Very good gyros. Calamari a bit tough (overcooked) but nice flavor. Very good vegetables.

I ate pasta at this restaurant and it was AMAZING! My husband had lamb and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was affordable, hot, seasoned and wonderful. I have a funny stomach and I wasn't sick after eating here. Major plus!

I ate here with a group of colleagues. I had the beef Stifado which tasted absolutely gorgeous; my colleague had Lamb Kleftiko which also tasted great. And for dessert I had a crepe/pancake which was delicious. There were also tasty starters and good quality wine. I had a lovely meal and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Food was very flat. Calamari was really hard to chew. It was also very oily and did not taste good. Pasta was also flat and did not taste good.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
