We stopped here for a quick bit to eat as we were exploring the area and although we had to wait for a while to get served as it was the lunchtime crowd, the gyros were great and they were reasonably priced

Delicious souvlaki. Went there at 11:00, nonother customers but us. I guess we were lucky. But after 15 minutes, people started coming. We got our order after 9 minutes. We ordered 2 beef souvlaki €6:80 and 1 pork souvlaki €3.20 and a greek soda, €1.50....Total €11.50 the pita taste good and the meat as well. The souvlakis taste as good as the other souvlakis we’ve tasted in Greece.More
Super over rated and not worth waiting 1 hour on line during lunch. Pork was way too dry and way too much parsley. Found much better souvlaki in NYC.
This was the spot all the YouTubers said to go and they were not wrong! Delicious food, terrific service, very efficient, kind and clean.
The queue can get long but it is absolutely worth the wait, it's the cheapest and best Greek authentic souvlaki you're gonna get!
Great service and the best Souvlakis. There is a long line but the wait is worth it. We went back twice during our stay in Greece.
This was so good! We had to wait in a loong line but oh it was so worth it! Such a good souvlaki and it was so cheap! Highly recommend
The beef souvlaki (3 euros) is delicious and flavorful! Fresh warm pita bread, tomatoes, greens, red onions, and tzatziki. Popular small hole-in-the-wall that has a long line of locals and tourists. Go early because often runs out of beef (which is better than their pork...option. No, they do not have chicken). The current chef is the grandson of the original. Also sells drinks (beer, ouzo, soft drinks). No seating. Best cheap eats in Athens!More
We found out about Kostas through YouTube & it was very near the hotel so when we passed one morning at 10+ it was open but we weren't hungry as we just had breakfast. When we returned later at lunch time there was a small...queue of people waiting to order. We didn't bother waiting as the queue didn't seem to shift. Decided to go back another lunch time & it was surprisingly quiet so we ordered a beef kalamaki & waited outside. It took a while to be prepared & was quite underwhelming when it arrived. Bread was nice & warm but the beef was actually quite dry when we were expecting it to be succulent. Overall, we weren't overly impressed. Thankfully we didn't have to wait long or it would have been even more disappointing.More
The most delicious souvlaki in Athens, simply and authentically food, coming from the past, father to son and continued
This place is highly rated and there’s always a long line. Family run business with friendly owners. It was not to our taste. The beef was sold out so we Had the pork. Pork was chewy and probably the least flavourful souvlaki we had in...Athens. However, the pita bread was amazing, the veggies were fresh and I liked the slight spice in the seasoning. It was a cheap lunch and I think it’s good for the audience they are targeting but I don’t think it was worth the wait in the line. We had more flavourful and tender souvlaki elsewhere in the city.More
souvlaki was super , the way should be , waiting was somehow longer than we wish but over all is a recommendation
This was one of our favourite restaurants in Greece. The atmosphere was friendly, and quiet, with soft music. The service was lovely and the food was superb. We noticed that other people came back , as we did. What a gem!
Stumbled upon this place on our walk to Plaka.. This is one of the best Souvlaki places that we went to in Greece. I’m so glad we stopped by and got food here. Met the owner who was very nice and told me his grandpa...opened this place in the 1950s. Apparently, he walked with his grandpa at the restaurant. Cool facts. Delicious food! The souvlaki has a nice kick (spice) to it!More
It was good, and very popular, but I was a bit disappointed that Pork was the only option. I enjoyed trying it and comparing it to other places in Athens.
