Food was meh... nothing special. But location, off the main drag away from the hoards of tourists in the plaka, is worth the trouble of finding this place. Quiet, peaceful, and if you’re sitting at the right table, there’s a view of the Acropolis.

The best option in the tourist maelstrom of plaka - not going to bother reviewing other options in the vicinity as they are all the same and I doubt they rely on reviews. This one is worth the extra effort to find.

The Plaka in Athens is very cosy to eat, but they almost pull you into their restaurant. Walk on hundred meters in the side street Angelou-Geronta and you find yourself in a quit garden bar / restaurant called O Glikis. We had two dishes (and...More

Set in a quiet little square just of the main buzz of central Plaka this rustic little place serves superb food and cheap prices. All the dishes we had for lunch were excellent. Village sausage rich and spicy kebabs perfect and the slow cooked lamb...More

Don't recommend this place. The food is below mediocre and the service is terrible. Plus they serve old bread with your meal and you'll discover latter that the bread is charged expensively. Surprise! Only positive point is the terrace which is quite nice. You choose.

The restaurant is located in one of the more quiet streets of Plaka, Athens. We had meatballs, grilled pork and greek salad for lunch. We liked all the dishes, especially the greek salad. Prices are decent, at around or just below average. All in all...More

Very calm, not touristy place. Not very cheap and not very tasteful food but if you need a calm place, it's a good choice. It's better for drink than food.

I ordered Greek Tsipouro (small bottle) and a small variety for only 3,5 euros. Great value for money, because in other restaurants you pay 8 euros for this! Very nice environment for your dinner, with traditional tables, seats and photos.... Definitely recommended

Take a small break from the hustle and bustle of the main Plaka streets. Here you can enjoy a simple meal or a drink in what feels like an authentic establishment without frills.

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains
the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay
and play. Its attractive features include small
squares, some notable museums and the beautiful
Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to
stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a
pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
