Open fire, good choice of beers and a very friendly landlord and landlady. Excellent menu; highly recommend the mackerel pate starter. Prices are somewhere between mid-range and fine dining.

We have eaten at this place many times and enjoyed the food but tonight the hake and the feta tomato and spinach lasagne were exceptional. Also the panko chicken was delicious. Compliments to the Chef.
