If you are in Vila do Conde you can't miss this restaurant. Try the renowned acorda de marisco. Brilliant and inspiring family business too.

Ramon it's one of the most famose restaurants in Vila do Conde, they have a fabulous menu of traditional Portuguese cuisine! Excellent friendly service! No doubt a must have! On your visit to Vila do Conde!

I have been a couple of time to Ramon, had a few different dishes but for me the tripas are the best ones I ever had. Overall the family that runs the place is very nice and the environment is also great. Will go back for another visit for sure.

Very nice environment, the family is really nice. Unfortunately we had a waiter that was unresponsive to our requests, barely talked with us. The food was really really nice, pricy but worth while!!! I am unsure if I will ever come back! Maybe to try the lamprey... hope the service will better.

I had my best lampreia and surely one of my best meals ever. We also had Posta Ramon (beef) that was really good. I recomend the lampreia even for the skeptics.

There are a few dishes that are still good like paella but the rest is not so good anymore, it tasts like reheated.

What a wonderful family-run place! Ok, there is a TV in each and every Portuguese restaurant, so that's that, but the food was excellent and, as mostly in Portugal, huge helpings, best to be shared. They also offered half helpings ('meia dose', a very important phrase here ;-)), and even these were big. The cabrito was wonderful but everything else... More

Restaurante Ramon is in the center of this pleasant coastal town. Vila do Conde is easily accessible by metro (Line B) from Porto. We shared a full portion (more than enough) of cabrito assado, which was cooked to perfection. A red wine (Real Lavrador) went well with the main dish. The desserts, baba de camelo and tarte amendoa, were delicious.... More
