Hotdog, Drink repeat

Me and my partner Lauren stubbled across this lovely family cafe/restaurant. We was recommended the hotdog here as it was a speciality of there's. It definitely didn't disappoint one bit! Smokey sausage between a crusty roll with a slightly spicy sauce inside and cut up...into small snack size bites. Wash it down with a ice cold super bock and soak in the sun whilst sitting In the lovely outside seating area and watch the world go by. I couldn't think of a better afternoon spent in the centre of Porto.More

The original cachorro!

There are few places around Porto now trying to offer this same simple meal but it’s not just about the food, the welcoming staff, the original venue and sitting at the counter gives you the feeling of being in a friends kitchen. Porto Streetfood

We got the recommendation from our local guide. If you enjoy sitting in the middle of locals enjoying comfort food / streetfood and having a beer this is the place. Service personnel is friendly and also helpful in selecting the right stuff. We had a...great time and would go there again.More

Yummy!

Really cool place to have lunch. It’s always full of locals. Their speciality is a special kind of Portuguese grilled hot dog (“cachorrinhos” as they call them) topped with a spicy sauce which is very tasty. No doubt the best hotdogs I ever tasted!!! Very...good francesinhas aswell (it's a Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto). They have good draft beer too. Enjoyed sitting the bar and watching them work. Definitely a must go!More

Yes. This place is good.

The previous positive reviews are all correct. So not really much more to add. Great staff, great food, great value. Unfortunately, everyone is now finding this place so expect the wait to get longer.

A Great Little Find

Just round the corner from our accommodation, the smaller of the two Gazela. A smaller menu, but much more fun to be able to chat with the guys working there and the locals. Fantastic hot dogs, real fries and a cold beer, what more could...you ask for!More
