The only restaurant in Porto where I meet sensorial memories of home made traditional northern Portuguese gastronomy. There are many good restaurants in Porto, but this one is unique in that respect. Everyday a speciality since more than 30 years, a daily reason for an...More

We went for lunch. The food was delicious, nice ambience, good service, a little bit expensive but considering it is located in a highly touristic area one can consider it could be accepted. The portions are very generous.

Very local restaurant with good Portuguese comfort food. Recommended by our tour guide. Good option if you're passing by the region and on a budget.

Went in very early (1930) the restaurant was virtually empty but a very rude waiter shouted at us that they were fully booked.A troglodyte.

A lot of main dishes was not available. Main entrance does not close well, so cold air disturbs continously. Full portions in general expensive. Food quality : excellent chips, good fresh hake fillets and rice de tamboril (monkfish), average grilled squid and sole.

We ate delicious traditional and home made portuguese food. Really good quality and taste, pricey but fare for the quality of food and staff friendliness.
