Excellent food at very good price point! Charming service and friendly staff. Very local feel. Perfect if you want to experience authentic porto food.

Rude, huffy and ineffectual service from small waiter with tattoos. On this experience, I can not recommend this eatery and I would not return. There are far better and friendlier places to eat in the Bolhao area, IMO.
I came in this place, few years ago when the Market of Bolhao was still under heavy reconstruction. Same confeitaria, same people, same charm. You can get a great breakfast with very fresh and diverse pastries at a low cost. They are surely crashing the...breakfast service of all hotels around with such affordable prices. However, if you look around and listen, you will see that most customers are local people; some of them coming everyday. It tells a lot (the Confeitaria remains the Confeitaria) about a place able to stay out of the heavy touristic pressure in Porto. You sit, you order what you want, you get a plastic card with a barcode, you enjoy, and you pay at the cashier at the entrance using this card (and your own credit card). Keep going guys! Don’t change anything (and surely not your friendly pricing policy)More
Very good place for breakfast. Located just in front to Bolhao market (without being touristic). Quality is very good, and service is efficient. Recommended.
We had a light breakfast there last week, absolutely outstanding quality of food and incredible value. It was always full of locals and tourists whenever we passed and it's easy to see why.
This place is always busy, and locals seem to find it a go to place. It is right outside the Porto farmers market square. I went there based on the reviews, and it wasn't a mistake. They have many tasty treats, and sandwiches. They seem...to make all the Portuguese specialties and are not expensive. They have a strange system where you work with person to box what you want, they code a plastic card with the cost which you bring to a single cashier at the front of the store to pay. Different. Portuguese, including this place, seem to overdo it with Nutella filled things. Nutella is tasty, but not good for you and way too much sugar. So aside from the Nutella filled things, I really liked this Confeitaria, and should be a place you visit.More
We were staying for a week in a flat close to this excellent bakers that we had booked through Airbnb. It was very convenient to pop into the bakers for a selection of savoury and sweet pastries for lunch or super.
Such a great place to relax and have a bite. We went for tea and decided to grab quiche. A nice big piece for very little money. Tea was good. Went back for excellent desserts, including scrumptious chocolate cookies.
Very busy be really good food freshly cooked. Had a very nice lunch in this old world cafe come bakery. Really good.
This Cafe is near my hotel and I was drawn by the Family hometown bakery looks of it . Everything is Fresh and the Staff is super sweet and welcoming.
Nice place were to stop for a glass of wine or coffee. It serves a large range of food from dessert to savory appetizers. The inside is beautiful
I was there early in the morning and asked for a typical Portuguese breakfast. Got great coffee and amazing cookie. Interestingly, the price for breakfast was only 2 euros.
Don’t you love it when an establishment places the year it was founded? While I understand it’s not always the “best” or the “tastiest”, but perhaps the nostalgia or familiarity is well worth the trip. In terms of Pasteis da Nata, it was just about...average. There are tons of good looking pastries that unfortunately we did not try. It does get a lot of foot traffic here at times. There is places to sit at the back.More
i am always a customer there :) i love the colorfull backery & coffee - love the colors and lights and sweet smells :P
Charming place, great coffee. I had a toasted ham and cheese, was so so. The soup was very good. overall thought I should have ordered the pastries. 1 water serving the entire cafe floor. He was very competent and very patient but seriously don't expect...fast service. But the place was charming and packed. Order the pastries, stay away from the ham and cheeseMore
