The staff treat customers with contempt. Horrible rude aggressive and hostile service . We didn't stay long enough to taste the food.

One of the best dishes I have ever had. They say it is the grandma's recipies, the mom runs the joint and the granddaughter (who was super sweet) was our server. The Rock fish dish was simply amazing. Had some type of sauce with potatoes, broccoli, red peppercorn and black pepercorn along with lots of real olive oil. Loved it.

Terrible service, must avoid this place. Expensive and the waitress thought for 30E/dish she was making us a favor and this is how she bahaved. Terrible experience, food was extremely bad, only could eat the rice.

This is one of the best places to eat authentic Portuguese food in O Porto. The bacalhau is outstanding, service is great, food in unforgettable. I really recommend Alzira's restaurant if you want to explore Portuguese food.

This little place is by the river in Porto and it was delightful! We started with cod cakes, olive pate and charred chorizo which was delectable! The chorizo was flamed grilled in grappa at the table and it was outstanding! Main course was monkfish and scampi in rice ( it was basically a risotto but not called that on the... More

We had some lovely fish at this restaurant, and the lady who served us (not called Alzira) was very friendly. It's not light food, in fact I had a bit trouble digesting it, but it was worth trying it.

My friends and I were in Porto for a long weekend celebrating my 50th birthday and we had been given a recommendation for this restaurant by a colleague who came from near Porto. It did not disappoint, we were given a table inside (it was quite cool outside) and it felt like we had our own private dining area. The... More

I went here with reservations for a large party wanting to sit outside, where there is an amazing view of the river. We arrived and had a table set for us with the great view we wanted. The service was perfect and food was amazing! I was in Portugal for 9 nights and this by far was the best experience... More

For some unknown reason the tables at this restaurant were still empty while the other terraces were filled with tourists. ALzira doesn't offer pizzas, pastas and hamburgers but a very good choice of fish and meat dishes. We had a very good gazpacho and beef in a magnificent Port sauce. Friendly service as well!
