This small, homey restuarant is off the tourist track. Authentic Portuguese food served with style and authenticity. Charming wait staff, simple homey ambience attracts regulars. The rice dishes are wonderful. Tasty food, with fresh and wholesome ingredients. Well priced by international standards ...Would both recommend and return.

We went here at the recommendation of our host and it was amazing. Delicious, hearty, Portuguese food with decent portions and good wine. We ordered the sausage with potatoes and fried egg (yum!), the steak (perfectly cooked) and the octopus (amazing) which came with a heaping portion of rice flavored with beans and tomatoes. Although we were quite full from... More

I have até arroz de cabidela (Rice with chicken and chickens blood) and it was really good. Took about 40m from the moment of the other to the moment that the rice arrived. House wine OK, not good not bad.

Lovely quaint restaurant just on the tip of the art district, with great wine for only €2 for a glass of get local wine. Octopus was well cooked with hearty tomatoe rice. Luckily we (3 of us) managed to get the last table on the Friday night as it was very popular with locals! Would definitely recommend.

We loved this restaurant. Great environment and excellent food. The service is also very good and thoughtful. When we'll go back to Porto, we'll definitely try to go back to this place.

A meal for two with a bottle of Crasto Red, a shared pudim de ovos and a glass of port. All for €55 Bacalhau dourado very good as were the Costelinhas. Try a shared pimentos padron as a starter. Rice with tomato, served in very hot saucepan, is delicious. We liked the place so much we went back for a second... More

Very familiar ambient. The restaurant is placed near to "Torre dos Clerigos", to the ancestral "Lello library" and many other points of interest. The food is great, very traditional and, with that "home made" taste.

We ate at the little terrace outside the restaurant because it was full inside. It was very cute, the walls of the little square next to where the tables are set have become the canvas of street artists. It is quite cozy and romantic. The waiter was very friendly. I ate a fish soup, which was quite good, and had... More

We came here as a family of seven without a booking and they found us a table! It was busy and had good atmosphere. Every one of us enjoyed our meals. Slight mess up with a drinks order meaning we received an extra carafe of white and red (when we only wanted red) but it was more a communications gaff... More
