Well in our last visit to Porto, me and some of my friends dinned in this restaurant, after some search on the web. The place is decorated in a traditional way. The service was ok, but the food, well, what a pleasant surprise. Its not so cheap as in other places downtown, but at the end we don't think much... More

We liked everything about this place immensely and will come back for sure! Huge portions of amazing fish (grilled salmon could easily be shared among two persons!), good wine, decent service, authentic feel.

This was a cute little restaurant that started filling up around 7:30. The portions are huge, and prices are low. We each got an entree and discovered we could have ordered one entree for the two of us and had leftovers. We got the "fried pork" which was not fried. It was a little over cooked, but the wine sauce... More

We loved this restaurant and visited twice during our short stay. Veal in Port astonishing. Garlic octopus my favourite. Monkfish rice superb. Service was lovely. Just the right amount of attention and great advice in English when you needed it! Do not miss this can little place!

Stumbled across this place and remembered it being a recommendation from our lovely B&B staff. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and when our two main dishes arrived over an hour after we ordered, we struggled to identify which was the roast pork and which was the casserole.... Both meals were very tasty but the quality of the meat was... More

We simply love the typical food. Our favourites were the Fish Meals, specially the Cod and the Octopus. Very good wines too. Good value for the money.

Very good tasty food and high hospitality (go there early to reserve a table as it is popular). I would visit Porto again just to have another dinner with my friends at this restaurant! Best home-made, high quality and good price Portuguese authentic food in town! I recommend the veal liver plate (small size as quantities are very big in... More

Absolutely fabulous! Me and my husband always different type of cod ('pataniscas', 'lagareiro' ...) and 1/2 portion is always enough for both. The house red wine is also great (from Alentejo). The kids have meat. Their favorite is veal with Madeira wine. We never regret having lunch there

Restaurant was very good, service was very nice & people were really polite y friendly. Food in general was very good but the meat in Oporto wine sauce with fries was absolutely AMAZING!!! Best I ever had in my 28 years of life!
