We came as a party of two and selected the menu of regiona specialities. Food was great!! With little experience in Portuguese cusines, we where happy to get an overview of the regional food. And it is plenty. We both ordered an additional item from...the menu and could not finish. Recommended house wine was good. The staff was very warm-hearted, but professional. The staff is small and the place has the air of an family-run place. The restaurant interior/decoration is certainly traditional and quite exuberant. No postmodern sobriety here. We arrived early at 7 p.m. The restaunt filled completely between 8 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., which might create some stress for the small staff.More

The owner has served us and was very friendly. Very old restaurant, but with soul and caracter. We tried the Tornedo steak which was great. For dessert we chose the Pudim Flambé which is not part of the menu, but they can make it 😉....Superb! This is indeed a hidden restaurant in Porto and is worth trying, for traditional food.More
