Sure is hard being vegan abroad. Thank God for Anjo Verde. The food is not only vegetarian and vegan, but it's incredibly delicious. Anyone can and SHOULD eat there. When you're tired of sandwiches and heavy food, Anjo Verde has got your back with solid, delicious and fresh food. I would recommend a dish, but the menu changes regularly. EAT... More

Portugal is hard on vegetarians, it's very meat centric. I'd been pretty much living on salads for the weeks since i'd been in country....and so this restaurant was simply a joy to me. I had a huge stuffed Portobello mushroom that was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned....i'd go back in a heartbeat

Very good food for good price! My boyfriend is meat lover, but he also loved it - one of his best dishes at our 14 days trip through Portugal. I do not know anymore what we eat, but it was fresh and very tasty :) Only minus is that they do not have English menu, so you need to concentradet... More

I've eaten in vegetarian restaurants all over the world. None compare with Anjo Verde. It was recommended by hotel reception and was outstanding. Unique and flavorable soups, salads and entrees. Would highly recommend to non-vegetarians as well.

You pay about 10 € for a dish. The plate is full and very well served. Food is tasty and dish is very well presented. The tea is for free. The apple pie is delicious. It's a bit commercial place though, not like home made food

When I first arrived in Braga, I noticed that vegetarian options can be quite limited so I was happy when this restaurant was recommended by my local tour guide. Very nice food with a mix of flavours, which pleased both myself (vegetarian) and two friends (meat eaters). Tea is lovely and the chocolate tart with pepper is worth a try!

We arrived at this restaurant on a Wednesday night and it was already busy. The decor is nice and the menu is limited but we were very impressed with the quality of the food. I had the quiche and my friend had the lasagne and we each got a large plate filled with different salads and vegetables. Their strategy seems... More

Anjo Verde is a nice restaurant located at the rim of the old city center of Braga. It offers a variety of vegetarian dishes (approximately 10), which are served with a small salad, rice, cooked vegetables and tea. There is no English menu but the friendly waiters are happy to translate the Portugese menu on request. The food is well... More
