There was lots of food to be had! Good and helpful service. Saturday night there is a traditional folclore Madeira dancing show, plus dancing for anyone who has the energy after a big meal!

My friends I decided to try this place because we wanted to try some traditional Portuguese food. We had no idea what to expect and ordered two fish dishes (Espada) which both came with 2 sides each, and another friend ordered one skewer of the grilled beef. We also got their traditional garlic bread which was amazing which I highly... More

For a fun evening of folk dancing and singing, coupled with decent food and more booze than you should consume, this is the place. The servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant seats about three hundred. At €30/person, transport from your hotel included, it's well worth it.

I came here as part of the "Typical Madeira Evening". It is what it is, good fun with local food and ample wine and beer. Having read previous reviews it is my belief that some people are taking their complaints far too seriously especially given the low cost, what can you possibly expect foe 30 euros which include pick up... We booked this evening through Madeira Island Tours. At 30 Euros each it was fine if the concept had been thought through. We were picked up promptly and taken to the venue 10 minutes outside of Funchal Centre. Unfortunately, it was one of their quiet nights so totally lacked atmosphere and was like sitting in an empty school hall with... More

I really enjoyed this dinner and show. The food was good and the various entertainers were so mush fun and talented. A great place to have an enjoyable dinner with folk music and a big party atmosphere.

First you will enjoy plenty of food such as meat(espetada), salads, typical sides wine, soft drinks and nice dessert and during the dinner you will enjoy the unforgettable typical dancing of Portugal-Madeira (Centro cultural San Antonio). You will get involved in typical dancing!! Highly recommended.
