This was our fourth visit in 4 years and every time we have enjoyed it more than the last. Always an extremely friendly welcome by all of the family and staff, it's one of those rare places that makes you feel at home immediately. The food is delicious, but beware, the portions are very generous, so best to order course... More

Let's start with the good things. The location / view is fantastic. Unfortunately that is all I can say that is really positive. We arrived for our booking and the waitress that welcomed us quickly established that another waitress had given someone else our table and then proceeded to shout and cuss at her, and very curtly waved us to... Went here for an early dinner. We had not made reservation but as it was about 18.00 in the evening there was room for us. We both had swordfish and it was marvellous. Price was not bad either. Scenery is great. Recommend.

We walked to the restaurant a spent a long lunch enjoying the food, the wine and the view. Well worth the walk. Do yourself a big favour and explore this stretch of the coast. The tunnel is great fun too!

They have all kind of fish and sea food that we can find in Madeira. Always very fresh and very well coocked. The view is a plus. We can watch the Atlantic and a litle of Madeira'a landscape.

The location of this restaurant is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and when dining in the evening on a clear day a wonderful view of the sunset when from seat the roof seating. The food selection fish only fresh with catch of the day. The mixed fish plate is plentiful with good choice of seafood. We ate here twice we would go... More

A favourite place of ours to walk to and enjoy a lunch of fresh fish whenever we are staying in Funchal. Yet again we were not disappointed. The menu choice is good and the service is very good too. My husband particularly loves the fish soup with its rich stock and soft bread and butter.

One of my favourite places to eat whenever I visit my hometown, Funchal. The food is amazing from the starters to the mains... And the the sea right next to it, just makes it perfect. If you like to try traditional dishes go for ten bodiao fish. I also love the octopus salad or stewed. Always, always starting with a... More

What o wonderful place, right in the promenade of Funchal to Camara de Lobos, we found this place, and decide to seat down for a few drinks and enjoy the sunset, the staff were very courteous and helpful, nothing seemed to be a problem, as the top level is an esplanade expect a bit of fresh air, however they have... Restaurant at me seemed hasty impression - quickly attend to what most tourists. A little time on the choice of menus, all recommend the mixed grill of fish. But the grilled fish was very good - only serving the fish to wet lettuce leaf was not happy.
