We visit this restaurant every time we holiday in Madeira as my husband enjoys their pizza. We visited two nights ago and I was pleasantly surprised. We share a pizza and a salad as we find the size too much for one. On other visits, I always find the pizza quite salty and greasy. However, this was not the case.... More

Just had our evening meal at this restaurant. Simple, tasty food. Great prices . Unobtrusive and efficient service. We will be returning. Thank you.

Limited menu which is then home cooked. Pasta my favorite but pizzas are tempting salads massive. Finish off with a big slice of sweet creme caramel coffee and Madeira wine. Perfect at great price.

Fabulous food, excellent variety of choice. Perfect service and even good value! Ate here 5 nights out of 7 as it was so good and there was always something else to try. Pizzas and pasta both very good. Crepes yummy.

We stopped here for lunch and opted for Pizza which was a good choice. They have an extensive menu of Pasta, Pizza, Salads and meat dishes. The Pizza was huge and we could have shared and added a salad. Service was good and we had an enjoyable lunch.

We always enjoy a meal or two here and highly recommend the pizza and pasta dishes but lots of choice on menu and efficient and courteous service and pleasant ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer outside dining here but inside has air con. Exceptionally good value for good quality food and I like smaller puddings which they do... More

If you want reasonable priced Italian food this is the place to go, we did prefer the other restaurant they had but this is now under other ownership, but the quality here is just as good and the staff are friendly, well worth a visit.

My husband and I have been visiting Madeira on a yearly basis for the past 15 years. The past 10 years we have been regular customers at the Casa Italia. The pizzas are enormous, very tasty and a reasonable price. You can also have just half a pizza and mixed salad, incredible value at 5.euros. I had spaghetti carbonara with... More

Went here last night to have some pizza and pasta. Ordered a vegetarian pizza (with some anchovies) plus a Gorgonzola pasta . Both meals were great. Unfortunately, when the bill arrived they had charged €3 extra just for a few additional anchovies on the pizza. Given the cost of the whole pizza was €9.50 - this separate & additional charge... Had dinner at Casa Italia last week because it was just across the road from our hotel, and reviewed well. We both had bruschetta to start with, followed by different pizzas. All the food was very disappointing. The bruschetta was very oily, and the bread burnt. Both the pizzas were incredibly bland and had bases so dry (like cardboard) they... More
