We were only in Sintra for one day, so I admit we didn't have much time to explore other restaurants; but before we landed our tired bodies in Romaria de Baco, we'd looked at the menus of two other places, all highly recommended on travel forums, and neither came close. First thing: EXCELLENT service. So much attention to every detail... More

I recommend it. We shared the veal since we had had tapas before. The server was very nice and explained the different plates and options.

More than 1 hour for a food with no flavor . We ordered frigideira de mariscos. More than 1 hour to be served and no flavor. Soup also regular. Not recommended. After 4 days in Portugal, a poor lunch experience.

The restaurant is between average and good, the food was good and so was the service. We were attended by a young girl who made us feel comfortable in the restaurant, the place itself was also very warm and comfy, hidden in a small street next to the center of Sintra. The food overall was very tasty we ordered a... More

Thanks for Trip Advisor reviews, we ended up at this restaurant our first night in Sintra and ended up going back our second night. Our meals were fabulous and the service was excellent. It's a small place so reservations are recommended. We were able to make them online.

This small and cosy place was like a warm shelter for us in the middle of a rainy January day in Sintra. We ordered octopus dish for a lunch and it was the best octopus we've ever had — soft, tender and absolutely delicious. Thank you!

We had the loveliest server at this small spot right near the Tourism building (it had been recommended to us). Her English was excellent and she was so friendly and warm. Our meal was most delicious: the tomato toast (like bruschetta), killer garlic shrimp and a zucchini boat (filled with veggies and topped with broiled cheese). It was a cold... More
