Kudos to the staff. We really wanted to sit outside but the tables were full so we grabbed an inside table. I went out a couple of times to see if anything opened up (it hadn't). All of a sudden, the server came up and told us she had an outside table available for us. We hadn't asked, but she... More

We ate here lunch and decided to come back for dinner. The food is very good and in fair price, the service was quick. In addition, great location. Its not a gourmet restaurant if that's what you're looking for, however you get what you pay for and even more.

The food is good quality and the portions are a good size. We had the tuna salad was huge and very good. The sardines and squid were grilled with real good boiled potatoes. The place is clean and service was good too. Great lunch.

We of came looking for late lunch after seeing the Palaces of Sintra. Bristol is well located, near the bus stop. So we though, why not. Our orders were taken promptly, but took more than 30 minutes to arrive. Other diners, who arrived later, were served earlier. When we asked why the long delay, the excuse given was that the... The cafe is right next to the recently-opened News Museum (also worth a look). We sat inside and had good mussels, onion soup and carbonara. All very good, and the staff were lovely.

Situated on the main road, this restaurant seems very busy. The tables outside in front are too close to noisy, smelly traffic (see picture) and those inside are somewhat Spartan. The menu is bog standard tourist fare, not cheap but not outrageous given the location. A meal with nothing to recommend it.

Stopped in for a quick coffee while sightseeing. Great cappuccino and friendly service. They had quite a few pastries behind the counter that looked good, but did not have any. Nice little place.

Had lunch here after climbing to the castle, principally as many of the alternatives were either , windy, full or had laminated pictures of their food instead of menus. I had veal in marsala and my wife had an omelette. Nothing special but quickly produced and tasty. On checking the bill at home I realised we had been charged for... More
