There are a lot of good fish restaurants in Setubal and the main reason for that is that the fish bought directly to the fisherman’s is probably the best in the Country. But what really differentiates one restaurant to another is not only the excelent...service provided but above all the mastery on how to grill those marvellous “creatures”. In this restaurant this diferentiator is just 5 stars!More

One of the numerous fish restaurants in Setúbal with a great terrace and a lot of tables inside. It’s located on the Avenida José Mourinho, I kid you not ! The doca dos pescadores is on the other side of the street. Here you’ll find...one restaurant after the other. The service was very friendly and the prices are a bit higher but that’s almost always the case with fish restaurants with this kind of location. We ate linguado (€ 45/kg) and paid € 32 for the fish. The linguado (sole) was very good and came accompanied with potatoes (cold) and a salad. I’ve chosen a house wine on many occasions but this white house wine was by far the worst. Certainly not a bad restaurant but some of the details should be better.More

Everything, really everything is great, but going to Setubal please give yourself the privilege to eat fresh and Portuguese fish. Ohhh and the "Gratinado" OMG!!! Don't forget to ask for this one too, won't regret it. For me a must go when in town.

I meet with clients at this restraunt and left the menu up to the owner. The food was excellent and the wine complemented the meal perfectly. We had five courses and the price was reasonable. The service was pleasant and very friendly, the owner and...most of the staff speak English well. I would highly recommend this restraunt for your business meetings or a nice night out.More

Family gathering, the perfect opportunity to get what's probably one of my favorite fish - the red mullet (salmonete in Portuguese. The 2 samples were perfectly cooked which allowed me to fully enjoy that amazing flavor! The prices I'd say are in line with local...practice. The red mullets were tagged at 45€/kg. It's not inexpensive, but I'll gladly pay that much for this particular specimen. Parking near the place was easy, but it was a rainy day... Nevertheless you'll find a big parking lot right in the middle of Luísa Tody Avenue, just a couple of minutes away. Staff was very friendly (and patient... family gatherings can get way too friendly...). I'll gladly repeat the experience.More

A tasteful experience. Their specialty is fresh fish, but you can also find some few meat dishes. We went as a family of 8 persons, where half didn't like fish, and still everybody left the place satisfied and happy. You can pick your fresh fish...a the cooler. NB. The restaurant may not be found at the address mentioned here in Trip-advice. But in a parallel street. Go look for it, it is worth it!More

We visited this restaurant because if the TripAdvisor sticker on the window. We had made a reservation for the round table because we were a party of five. Our waiter that evening was Jorge. He was professional and funny. He first invited us to come...to the display of all the fish. There you could point out the fish and you could choose how you would like it to be prepared. We chose the oysters as apetizers. They were local oysters and very delicious! We had cuttle fish with and without ink. We drank the white house wine which was delicious. Jorge advised us to take the special dessert of the house which was a kind of flan and bread pudding with icecream. This combination was delicious. What a very nice restaurant to visit especially as you have Jorge as your waiter! Obrigado Jorge!More

This is a very picturesque restaurant, situated directly across from the Sado estuary with its plethora of colorful fishing boats and other watercraft. But most importantly, the food here is spectacular and very reasonably priced! Outstanding fresh fish and seafood; great, attentive service! I recently...had lunch here with my cousins from the area, and the entire event was flawless and most memorable! It is not coincidental that a majority of patrons are local residents!More
