Wow. Wow. Wow. From the welcome to the goodbyes this was a phenomenal tasting experience. The setting is minimalistic but comfortable. The entire waiting staff were welcoming, engaging and read the table to perfection in terms of tone and friendliness. They took every effort to...make sure that my vegetarian experience matched the carnivorous one for my partner. The wine pairings were ingenious and beguiling - some real finds that complimented the experience. The price point was exceptional value. We will be back!More

This place is more than a restaurant, it’s a full culinary experience like no other. All the food is of the highest quality and the flavours are outstanding, you can tell a lot of work has gone into making these menus. All the stuff are...also wonderful, I can’t remember the name of our waiter, he was blonde and has a beard, but he was just so lovely. I can’t wait to come back.More

The food was good although I find 2 stars very generous for what we were given to eat. The level of complexity of each dish was more worthy of a (high) 1 star than a 2 star. Service and decoration were lacking sophistication. Starting with...the decor: this must have been the first time I ate in a 2 star restaurant that has no tablecloths on the table. Toilets were also too plain for this type of restaurant. Service: the sommelier was really disappointing. I had told him right from the start that the accompanying wine flight was too much for me and that I wanted 3 glasses of wine: 1 white, 1 red and 1 dessert. Since we had a 6 course meal, it seemed evident to me that I would get a glass at dishes 1, 3 and 5. To my surprise, after dish 1, he already showed up with my second glass. I told him this was too early. He mumbled something like: you can drink some more. Which part of my request had he not understood ? This kind of trying to sell more wine than the customer wants is not worthy of a 2 star restaurant. Finally at dishes 5 and 6, no sign of the sommelier. I never got my third glass of wine. This same lack of class was apparent when they served us a second bottle of water even though we had not asked. Would a restaurant ever serve a bottle of wine to a customer without being asked ? Why does it think it can do this with water ? All in all, a bit disappointed. To be honest, it didn't start auspicioulys: having to ring the bell to be let in is a cheap gimmick, as far as I'm concerned.More

My partner and I dined here last night. It’s clear to see why ALMA is so well recognised and a Michelin quality restaurant. From start to finish the service is polite, friendly and informative without being intrusive. We experienced the Classic tasting menu. Delightful experience...with some lovely surprises along the way. All in all a great night at ALMA and we will definitely be back soon.More

Great experience in this well deserved 2* Michelin restaurant. The menu is incredible and really worth it. The value is great!! Not too expensive. There are no better restaurants around, our sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. Rest of the service team are not exceptional to be...honest but you come here for the food!More

My wife and myself wanted to have a good diner out after stressful days at work and opted for Alma. Readily pleased with the welcome and the simplicity of the decor. We opted for the two degustation menus and were adequately guided through wines along...with the courses. The mix, balance and harmony of flavors for all dishes took us to different places, the journey was pleasant and this feeling of of pleasure and satisfaction never left us up to the end. The pace of dishes served, the service, the exchanges with the personnel is very well coordinated, all is is in harmony. You finish your dinner and you just want to thank them all for the nice experience! Only negative point if I may is the absence of the chef, HSP.More

If you can’t get a Dinner reservation, go for Lunch, that’s what we did and had a great experience. We booked 2-3 months in advance.
