There is a waiting queue for about an hour at this place, for both take out and stay at a table. I recommend Manteigueira, equally tasty, but in the center and a hidden gem.

Of course, it is nos essentially frequented by tourists, yet their Pastel de nata alone is worth the stop... And when I say stop, don't buy it at the counter, but sit down and have one with a coffee... It should be served freshly baked...More

Easy to get to, just off the tram nearby and you’re there. The tarts were beautifully crispy and warm. Recommend that you just get table service instead of waiting in the outside line where it’s for takeout, you’ll get to eat them sooner, and likely...More

Must visit. Pro tip: you’ll see. Huge line outside. Don’t wait there. Just skip the queue and take on every of the doors inside. There’s plenty of room inside and with little or no line. Only order the local delicacies. They cannot be missed. Coffee...More

Huge rows in front of the confectionery, a little chaotic, but fast delivery service. It's a good idea to taste a traditional pastel de nata cake. But not necessarily here. True, in 1837, this Portuguese sweets were first made here.

Long queue and not necessarily worth the wait. Had much better pasteis in Alfamo. It’s good to try them once, but wouldn’t buy again.

No! For gluten free Pasteis de Belem "tarts}, you have to ask them, and I am sure that you will pay much more as it is not a every day required item and most people love it as it is, Moderation is the secret!

If you buy them on the day of boarding and if they were not subject to hot temperatures they should be good at least for 2 days
