We only went in for a beer and snack since we had a big breakfast. We wished we had been able to eat an entire lunch there. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of this restaurant. We had a wonderful experience and...More

The restaurant is a historic building and the tile work on the interior walls is splendid. However, the food is average and is overpriced. The service was terrible and clearly the waitress did not want to be there. Because of the building's history, be prepared...More

We popped in here while on a Rick Steves Lisbon walk. Delightful interior with history of the restaurant displayed on a monitor over the bar. We just had beer and a hamburger and cheese sandwich appetizers. They were simple yet very delicious! Nice break from...More

I’m Portuguese and fairly picky in terms of restaurants when it comes to my own home town. Cervejaria Trindade is one of those restaurants that provide anyone with a great meal for a fair price. The “Bife da Vazia” option with egg on top is...More

The atmosphere was fabulous and there is a diverse offering of shellfish. What wasn't great was the actual preparation of the food and the prices - for what you're being served. This place is a novelty so they have no reason to improve. People will...More

Went there with a group of friends. Encountered rude waiters and service. Their bad attitude can only be topped off by someone who looked like the owner of the place, who spoke very rudely and unhelpful. Will never go there again as there are so...More

Os pratos são bem elaborados e servidos, porém como se trata de um lugar bastante turístico tome cuidado revisando a sua conta e também com o cover que eles trazem na mesa antes da refeição. Ele é pago e não é barato! O garçom não...More

I know the restaurant since years and enjoyed the cold seafood platter there. It was always in the higher price segment, but worth the money. Now the seafood is just too expensive compared to other restaurants. So we ordered fish. The filet de dourada was...More

Magnificent eating place with very special interior, all details important. The menu has lots to offer, but the various fish plates are simply best choice.

The meal was delicious but the service could have been better. The waiter could not understand us. You would think that a restaurant that caters to tourists would have servers who spoke English.

I don't really think you need to book to be honest. Its a very large restaurant with a fairly fast turnaround so even when its busy they would always be able to get you a table within reasonable time.

Hi Picanha P, I did not see any dogs in the restaurant. It would be my guess that smaller dogs are permitted, as is the custom in many European restaurants. Europeans do not seem to be as creeped out by dogs as Americans... More

Description
The Trindade Beer Hall, the oldest and most beautiful beer hall in Portugal, was created in 1836, in the space which had, since the 13th century been occupied the Santissima Trindade Convent. In what used to be the monk's refectory, amongst the 19th century painted tile panels, the exceptionally good beer, and the best dishes of traditional Portuguese Cuisine and the freshest of seafood, you will discover why our costumers feel so well looked after at Trindade.
