We visited Lisbon last week and we discovered your Pasteis de Nata as soon as we visited the Time Out Market. We ordered and ate them, both with and without cinnamon, every day and bought some home, which traveled really well . They are exceptional and...the best we have ever tasted. Will head straight for these when we visit Lisbon again !! Thank you !!More

Admittedly not a huge custard tart fan, but when in Lisbon it has to be done, right?! Popped in here to try one, and have to say I enjoyed it far more than I ever thought I would. The Pastéis de Nata here are superb...- really delicious. The next day I went to Belém and tried the infamous ones from there, but the ones at Manteigaria are far superior!More

It is the best fabrica de pasteis de Nata I’ve tried! The next day is still fresh! You don’t need to try from someone else!

This famous pastry shop, Manteigaria, is located at the corner of Largo de Camoes and a larger place at the famous food hall, Time Out Market, near the Cais do Sodre metro stop. We visited the larger Time Out location. We waited in line at...the food hall for over 15 minutes. Manteigaria Pastel de Nata’s is quite sought after. Large windows reveal how the chef’s bake this marvelous pastry. Ironically, if you go outside to order, there was no line! There are unique packaging techniques for ordering two or more pastels. And, they do keep for several days without refrigeration. I thought the Manteigaria’s pastels to be a tad larger than the original ones at Pasteis de Belem. Both had incredible tastes. You will not go wrong, or fat, by trying both. If you found this review to be “helpful” in any way, please leave a helpful “CHECK” to let me know.More

We've tried at least 8-10 different fabricas, but this one is by far the best. Kept going back for more, and this is the only one that is still crunchy the next day. All others became mushy.

The pasteis de nata here are really nice, definitely stronger cinnamon than some of the other places. I didn’t prefer the cinnamon, but the tarts are really delicious and I would recommend putting these tarts on your Lisbon eating list.

We went here on a recommendation from friends. It's a close call be we think these were the best pastel de natas in Porto. Just get the 6 pack, you'll be glad you did later in the day.

AMAZING! You absolutely must come here when you visit Lisbon, although they do have a few shops around the city. My partner and I ended up coming here every single day during our visit. Sometimes in the morning, lunch or even late in the evening...on the way back to our hotel after dinner. It was very very fairly priced and the pastel de nata’s were delicious, so fresh and you could see the chefs making them behind the counter. I genuinely miss these now I’m home and I will definitely be returning if I ever visit Lisbon again.More

We went in search of Pastel de Nata at Belem and the queue to get into that shop was totally off putting..albeit Easter weekend and fill of tourists.. We walked further on to Manteigaria and found the most delicious ones there...less busy, great staff and...you can sit outside and savour every bite into them. We bought a box of them !!More
