It's a nice place, around 15-20 km from Lisbon, where you can get a very peaceful and rechargeable atmosphere. I like it!

Just a quick 15 min drive away from the city center this place has very nice food and amazing Sangrias and cocktails (do try them)!! It sits on a beautifull beach, has great atmosphere and a friendly staff! Dont miss the cool sunset parties, they happen almost every Saturday!! To check the parties go to FB page. https://www.facebook.com/MasstigeRestauranteBar

Unless you are in your 20s and have a perfect body, this is not for you. It's a beach restaurant with a nightclub soul. For the "trendy" crowd. "You want to go the to "meet" (meat...) people!! Look and be looked at!! Food is average at best Service is totally amateur and do not expect even a hello before 12pm,... More

Hi was several times in Masstige Praia and I was amazed that I was just 10 min way from Lisbon. It is an amazing beach and perfect to watch the Sunset! To drink: I strongly recommend the 2L Jarros of Mojito or Caipirinha. Very good deal! To eat: My favorites are – “croquetes de alheira”, “revueltos de batatas fritas” and... More

Staying in Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria

Neighbourhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
