Prazeres is like Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse that's supposed to bring meat around constantly until you tell them to stop. Like Fogo de Chao, they give you a red/green marker that's supposed to tell the server when to come around and offer meat...-- and when you need a break. It was extremely crowded when we arrived, which may account for some of the lag time. Eventually, we received drinks and the food servers started coming around with meat. They don't carve it in front of you like Fogo; it's pre-sliced. We turned our marker to red when we had full plates and wanted to finish what was on our plate before having more piled on. They kept coming, anyway -- multiple times. Finally, they got the message and stopped. But when we were ready to eat more and turned our marker back to green, we never saw them again. We couldn't flag them down even though we tried. We wanted more meat and had originally been planning to order dessert, but got tired of waiting. We finally gave up and paid our check. There are many good restaurants in Lisbon. I wouldn't go back to this one.More
