We have been here for a good italian ice-cream. The product tastes good but the price is high and the space is small. The ice-cream is more creative than tasty.

Such great gelato! its truly a must go to! I had the mango and passion fruit and it was delicious and creamy. The lines are sometimes long but its totally worth the wait!

I miss the flower-shaped ice cream from this shop! The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the way they form it to look like a flower make it seem even more scrumptious. Good service, though limited indoor seating. It may seem strange to eat ice cream in the dead of winter, but man, it's worth the extra cold! Take your... More

Awesome gelato and great service. The favors are awesome and some of the best we ever had. The service is perhaps the best since there is no hurry to finish the decor on the ice cream which is made like a petal.

We loved this ice cream place. Whoever thought up the combination of ice cream and macaroons should be given a medal! Definitely worth a visit (or ten).

Best gelato I have had worldwide, and comparable to Italy. While strolling Lisbon, my husband and I stumbled across this gem of an ice cream/gelato parlor. The service was great, gelato even better (raspberry, vanilla, dulce de leche, pistachio, and dark chocolate), and the espresso was delicious. I only downside - is it is not located in Florida!!

Great selection of gelato and sorbets! Difficult to choose flavors, but server helped pick out good combos. Very nice after a heavy Portuguese dinner! Recommend during a stroll down the Rua Augusta!

Someone had recommended this ice cream parlor and whenever we walked past it was full of people. Once at an odd time it was empty and we didn't hesitate: great ice cream! Get a scoop...or better two!

Indulge yourself with pure artisanal Italian ice-cream. A choice of 24 flavors (20 in winter!), with the best and most natural ingredients sourced from around the globe. For any cone size, get as many flavors as you like, shaped as a flower. When it's more chilly, warm yourself with hot chocolates and other hot drinks, crepes and waffles. Enjoy inside on the sofas, or outside on the terrace.

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
