This is a textbook tourist trap. While not surprising given that this sector is overrun with tourists, this is not where I would recommend you try "local" food. There are much better Portuguese restaurants in other parts of town. We only ate here because there...More

Good touristic location, thus also touristic prices. But food was authentic without taste modification for foreigners. For Portuguese standards expensive, for Northern European cheap. Good quality and size of portions. Good and fast service. Safe choice.

We dined here after visiting the monastery. A typical lunch menu was available. We each opted for a salad, tinned tuna & tinned octopus. Food was ok and the price was acceptable. Service was swift.

The food is very good and the service is great. Generous on fish and the octopus meals. Pleasant, cam and quiet, the prices are affordable.

The food was perfect. The waiters were very kind and answered our questions about places in Lisbon. Be aware- the starters cost money!

We ate the best pulpo (octopus) here, beautifully cooked and tender. The downside was that we were brought four titbits, bread, butter and paté as soon as we sat down - we were not asked whether we wanted these and assumed they were in the...More

The sardines were great and had correct price but not only did they charge the bread but also (7 euro!) the five cold greasy appatizers that are bad for your health. I thought it was a free entree!

I stayed only for a day in Belém and I was skeptical about the 'restaurants made for tourists'. This one, tho, made me changed my mind. House wine was marvelous and the food.. The best grilled cuttlefish I have ever eaten! In this restaurant you...More
