We had coffee and cakes in this lovely shop on a warm afternoon in Lisbon. The service was excellent, the coffee very good and they have an almost overwhelming choice of pastries and cakes to choose from. We sat outside so we could see all...More

Delicious place where you can find all the local deserts! this is a must do when you are visiting Lisbon. The place is beautiful with classic decor that adds up to the experience. Highly recommended.

We went in looking for some breakfast. Upon entrance, there were a few people ahead of us, but it seemed disorganized. In the front, two people would help and the cash registers are on the side. People did not really know where the line started....More

We were doing a self-guided walking tour of the Baixa (historic downtown) and stumbled across this landmark. It is a confit nacional shop, a palace of sweets virtually unchanged since the 19th century. Although this shop is known for its pastries, very few people know...More

In one corner of Rossio square you'll find this old establishment which is a bit more than just a coffee shop. We had a quick coffee while standing by the counter with a small Pastel de Nata cake.

Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
