12 sits, so booking is mandatory. The food is simply amazing and unbelievably cheap. The house style codfish, with veggies and rolled brisee is something that lets you speechless. Just one rule, be on time and don't speak English, or else, the crazy owner will get really mad. If you fake to speak Portuguese, on the other hand, you will... More

We ran in here to escape the rain and I'm so glad we did. It's not a very big restaurant but it was full and there was a line out of the door once we sat down. We both had steaks. Very large portions. All washed down with a bottle of red wine. The food was amazing. Well cooked etc.... More

My wife and I visited this little gem last night after it was recommended to us at our hotel. It was splendid. We hade different cod dishes but both were voted the tops. Very lovely lady chef, waitress and barmaid all in one! Very charming lively lady. You need to book to get in. Worth taking that trouble.

The one and only... Not a fancy/poxy place but feels like home. An amazing host/lady who cooks traditional Portuguese food from scratch. Simply delicious 😋 😘👍

Great genuine food for a very small prize. We ate twice, both times bachalau in different styles, always great quality. The place is very small with only 12 seats available so it is mandatory to book in advance. The prize is very cheap (25-30 euro for two people). The location in the alfama makes this place a must have during... More

The women who serve and cook the food are simply amazing. The dishes are the traditional dishes of portugal with a touch of invention. The bacalhau was amazing and the price too. Remember to take fries, fresh and cut by hand. Be patient with the woman, let her choose for you the dishes. She doesn't speak english. Only portuguese.

Amazed by the caracter of Ti Natercia's owner who cooks, prepares the tables and serves everything on her own. Tiny restaurant with about 5 tables, the best place to eat traditional bacalhau dishes.

I went there after a friend's suggestion. She is the undisputed queen of bacalhau. Just One suggestion: she gets angry if you are late. Trust me, don't be late.

This place is beyond any expectations. It's like eating at a grandmother's house: familiar atmosphere , abundant dishes, delicious food. And low prices ! It's totally worth the visit and once you go there you won't want to eat in any other place in Lisbon. We took two enormous portions of bacalhau, one liter of house wine, fruit and dessert... More

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
