We were here on New Year's Eve. You have to leave your credit card for the reservation and pay a €25pp fine if you don't show up. I was called about a week in advance to confirm the reservation, then I had to confirm again online on the day of booking. The welcome in the restaurant was very professional. We got the table we wanted right by the window. Fantastic view of Lisbon at night. Unfortunately a bit drafty as the windows were only temporarily installed. Service was very friendly, we were given recommendations, a candle was lit and photos were taken at our request. Service was excellent all in all. The dining room was unfortunately very noisy as there were mostly large groups (possibly because of New Year's Eve). For starters we had the samosas (good) and the "Pica Pau" (pieces of beef floating in a tasteless sauce). Pica Pau was unfortunately tasteless. For mains we had chicken thigh and slow cooked beef chacuti. An unusual creation, chicken with curry sauce and wild mushrooms, unfortunately again almost tasteless. The beef was tender and fell apart, the sauce tasted completely neutral, and hazelnuts and wild mushrooms were served with it. It didn't taste right and was far too bland. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us despite the impeccable service and the great view.

After 2 years and a good experience at the time, we went back and had salad in the afternoon. They were prepared without any love. Dressing, braised chicken breast fillet, iceberg lettuce, dressing layered on top of each other. That was nothing. The one male waitress was also bored and unmotivated. We won't be coming back.

We came for dinner as a family.
I recommend that you book on the site in advance, your table is quite practical and easy.
In addition you can request a placement of your table, which is not unpleasant for a reservation.
Service, very friendly, but too fast! The waiter is very nice, but chewing gum throughout the service is not very professional, I think…
Confused service, too fast, we don’t appreciate the moment…
Damage.
Be careful in terms of cuisine, we are on mixed flavors or even fusion cuisine which I think is only aimed at experienced palates, and only for those curious about new culinary sensations.
Classic palates refrain!
On the other hand, the place is magical and the view exceptional.

Please save yourself and do not go here, if I could give 0 stars I would! I arrived and was sat and it took over 10 minutes for someone to take my order. The food was bland and the servings were miniscule. I got the shrimp curry it was literally two spoons of curry with four shrimp served at room temperature for 19 euros.
Now for the kicker...
I ordered the apple ginger mocktail and what came out looked different but I could taste something slightly appley so I didn't want to make a big deal, until I asked for my check and saw that I had been brought and charged a slightly more expensive limeade. I brought this up to my waiter initially as a heads up not even expecting to be reimbursed (I drank about a quarter of it), but more so as feedback. The waitress raised her voice at me and assumed I wanted the amount to be taken off my check and went to get the manager who approached me in a very aggressive manner before even listening to what I had to say.
What happened to the customer is always right? Anyway I quickly paid because I felt intimidated and left as soon as I could.
Terrible overpriced food, terrible service and intimidating staff. If anyone knows what the Portuguese version of the Better Business Bureau is I would love to report them.

I don't recommend it, I had this restaurant on my list of preferences, but unfortunately I should have read the recommendations better.
We were asked to leave, we had a reservation until 9:30pm, during the meal we had employees pressuring us to finish the dishes, at 9:32pm we were asked to leave without letting us finish our drinks and without having the option to order desserts or coffees.
It should be noted that almost half of the tables were already empty, even so we were asked to leave, a restaurant aimed at tourism without a doubt.
Food a little boring, worth the starters and the view over the city of Lisbon, which apparently is only tourism
you can enjoy.
We paid €150 for 4 people.
I do not recommend

I was taught that if something is not nice not to complain but tell the restaurant directly so they could take it to hart and change it. Unfortunately the reaction of the restaurant made me decide to leave a bad review. We arrived at six thirty and the view was lovely. We were immediately told we could only stay until half past eight. Which was fine. We had great waiters, great starters and nice wine. The main dish was less tasty (some tuna dishes were a bit to salty to our taste) but no reason to complain. When we asked for another bottle of wine and the dessert menu from our new waitress we were told we couldn’t get it because we needed to leave at eight o clock. We said no, eight thirty, she started a discussion but as we persevered she asked her manager and he told her eight thirty so we could stay and order. We ordered two chocolate mousse and some lime pies. The chocolate mouse was horrible, it tasted too buttery (or olive oilery maybe in this case) and not of chocolate at all. We were with five people and we made everybody taste desert to check if it was our fault. We all tasted it and concluded the dessert was disgusting (mind you, it is chocolate, to make chocolate taste bad, that’s a performance in itself.) At around eight o clock I told the waitress that the dessert was horrible and could she please take it away as we were already waiting a while with a plate in front of us that we would not finish. It took her at least 15 minutes to do this and when we asked for the bill it took another 15 minutes (quite strange as they were trying to get rid of us sooner that evening.) When she gave us the bill the chocolate mousse was still on it and we asked about it. She said she had asked her manager and that many people hated the mint icecream but loved the mousse (a bit strange to tell us this.) Two people had the mousse earlier and didn’t complain so it must have been our taste. When I told the the other people maybe were too polite to complain and suggested her that maybe she should go taste herself she said no, I suggested the cook should taste it and she said once again that nobody else ever complaint so it was our taste that was wrong. As you can understand that last half hour was quite odd and conversation was stilted. We tried to not let this ruin our night (and it didn’t) but that last half our was very unpleasant and we can definitely say the restaurant and it’s service was a let down. Although the view was very pretty. We will not visit again.

This seems like a place frequented by locals, but it was quite disappointing.
We ordered a Negroni which was made terribly
When ordering, I had informed the waiter that I am vegetarian. I ordered the quinoa salad, but he didn’t inform me that it comes with tuna. Then when the salad came, it was evident that a bunch of items from the fridge had been put together in a bowl, they hadn’t even bothered to warm the quinoa. There were lumps of quinoa and the salad had no taste. I asked the waiter about the tuna and instead of replacing it, he just gave me a blank look and said the menu mentions tuna.
The worst was the bread that we ordered. It was warm outside and frozen inside. They replaced it but overall for the 20 euros we spent, we got a much better experience at other places in Lisboa. Never coming back!

Lovely location, although now very modern compared to the uploaded pictures. The staff were pleasant enough but unfortunately the food was borderline foul. The beef tasted like it was canned, the cod tasted slightly off and if coming here go NOWHERE near the tuna. Such as shame as the location and views were absolutely lovely.

We booked to come here to celebrate my birthday with family, a group of seven. My family bought a birthday cake as a surprise. On arrival, we were told that no cakes were allowed and this set the tone for a difficult meal. The food was good, the views were excellent, the staff grumpy, unsmiling and rude. This is the second time we have eaten here and in both times it is is the staff that let this restaurant down. So if you plan to visit here, expect good food, good views but staff with little or no people skills. Even when we left we asked for a knife to cut the cake so we could have it a local park. This was flatly refused, surely this was not too much to ask. We can not recommend this restaurant, purely because of the floor staff and the manager.

I never leave these types of reviews but I actually feel I would be doing people a disservice by not.
I went with my partner and friend for dinner on our last night in Lisbon, my partner is from Portugal so we had a native speaker with us. We ordered and the atmosphere was relaxed, with a nice view. That is really where the positives end...
I ordered the papardelle potatoes and it was such a mistake. When it arrived it was undercooked and inedible. My partner asked the staff to change the meal and they took it back to the kitchen only to return with the plate, letting us know the chef's had said it's 'just how it is'..
As a vegitarian I was really disappointed and did not get offered another option. I sat there hungry.
When it came to the bill, they had still added the €14 on our bill which felt absolutely criminal. My partner spoke to the manager in portugese and he said they get many people who send that meal back and that it's not their problem. The staff stated that over 80% of people actually don't like it and if we had ordered with any of them, they would have told us not to get it.
This seems mad! The restaurant doesn't deserve the 4 stars - with all our meals being essentially made of the same vegetables (mostly just mushrooms) and tasteless.
AVOID THIS PLACE. Lost in, listen to your team who know the customers and actually do something about your appauling menu and customer service

The food itself is amazing, but the service could be improved to make this place better. When booking the restaurant we were made aware that we could only stay for 2 hours, which was fine, but they continued to remind us about the time limit when we got there for dinner which was frustrating. Then, when ordering food, we wanted to order appetizers and entrees separate just because we wanted to eat appetizers first. The waiter told us that we must order all food at once as it’s easier for the kitchen, and we were not prepared to order our entrees then. I’ve never had that happen before when I can’t order food at different times or asked to change how I order my food. It was a real turn off and clearly not an accommodating restaurant. I won’t bring kids here, they seem strict. The food was amazing and tasty, but the service left me with a bad taste

We had a great table, overlooking the city. I asked the waiter what he recommended, he said the Tuna Wellington. It was not very good at all, the tuna was stringy and the entire dish was sort of a mush confusing flavors. The others ordered the chicken sandwich, they said it was dry. The waiter seemed annoyed to be there.

Let's begin with some facts about the restaurant and then perhaps a few observations at the end.
The restaurant is hidden a bit down an alley a few hundred meters above the Gloria Funicular (Elevador da Gloria), the base of which is 200 meters North of Restauradores Metro stop. Continue up hill past the overlook (Miradouro do Dom Pedro) and turn right into a small street that passes through the houses -- small steps on the left).
There are two areas, the first open air room is immediately at the top of the small stairs and has terrific views to the North of the city. Continuing through the anteroom of the kitchen, the garden area is perhaps 1500 sq ft. and has a partial view of the city as well. Both are covered and the first can be enclosed in cold weather.
There are perhaps 25 tables in total. The location is quiet and the garden has mature plants and is framed by a bamboo wall on the west.
There is a dual language (English being the second language) menu with a few choices of entrees (10), main plates (10 including 3 vegetarian), salads (3), deserts {6}, and such. Nothing is particularly haute cuisine, but some innovative combinations. Several items are quite spicy and clearly marked by symbols on the menu. The normal selection of wines, beer, etc.
Service on a beautiful September Sunday was rather normally prompt and moderately friendly. By American standards, service might be considered a bit abrupt or cold, but that's a perspective not universally shared.
Considering the normal hustle and bustle of any big city, a nice experience for all of us.

Visited the restaurant twice in the space of a month and had very similar experiences both times. The food is refreshing, unique and creative. By far the most intricate flavor profiles I’ve had in a meal in Lisbon. The duck roast beef was excellent, the stuffed squid was colorful, and the shrimp and dim sum appetizers were extremely well balanced. The cocktails were unique and well presented. Overall not one bite was a disappointment and was perhaps the best Indian fusion I have had. I am of the opinion that the restaurant would have a Michelin recommendation if it were not for the service. The service was cordial enough but had some weird mannerisms. Upon being seated, the host stressed that we had the table for 2 hours, something which is understandable but slightly off putting. The server also insisted that all the food was ordered at the same time, appetizers and entrees included. In short: excellent, fun food with a great view and fun ambience.

Service is only thing for a star. Starter was so sweet (caramellised coat cheese) that i left half of it… and main course was same kind of easy made and wierd tastes together. Mayones with carlig, cooked potateos with no flavour or salt, some green sauce and white sauce. No taste or flavour at all. Octopus was so sticky, that we could not eat that, knive did not cut the meat… the outlook was great, but taste not.
Service was good and wine was good. We got discount for that octopus.
So nice place and you can see the whole town! Awesome! Second star for that.
