A friend of mine lived in Lisbon last year and recommended this restaurant for a good, typical, roasted chicken meal. The restaurant is near other similar restaurants that offer the same fare, but it looks a bit more fancy from the outside. Don't be fooled....More

We sat at a table in view of the door, and the line for chicken stayed a constant 10-15 people deep as we ate our meal. Clearly the locals love it.

We were welcomed without a reservation and at first were treated very well. Unfortunately there was a mix up as I ordered the chicken and my partner ordered kid but the food wasn't cooked together so we waited ages and my chicken was presented cold...More

This was recommended by friends and is a treat. In the heart od tourist trap Lisbon the locals eat great bbq chicken and I had squid. Lovely food, great service and reasonable prices!!

We found this street just at the back of the Hotel which is lined with restaurants on our last night. This had to be the least pushy and looked like the locals ate here. Really friendly staff and lovely food. I had the lamb chops...More
