We made a reservation but they missed to confrim or cancel it. When we arrived they just simple told us, that there is no place, thanks for visiting...the place was very small and stinky anyhow, so we do not bother.

True Fado in a very special place. Never have 4 artists performed in such a small space! Family business, very friendly. Book because there are less than 30 seats!

We went to this place because of Tripadvisor comments and recommendation. Overall experience is positive, however I would not rate it too high. Food is very good indeed, but as for fado... I am not very impressed. Atmosphere is friendly.

Be certain to make your reservations at this special family operated restaurant before you arrive in Lisbon! Intimate setting with wonderful, friendly service. Great food and outstanding FADO show. This was our first night in Lisbon and a special 60th birthday celebration!

On off the least pretentious of Lisbon's Fado restaurants is also one of its finest. Hosts Duarte Santos and Ana Marina treat guests as family and the homely ambiance is warming and inviting. The homemade gastronomy is noted for its textures and flavours and generous portions, with the seafood cataplana (stew) a much-lauded feast. The menu is limited, but here it's all about the quality of the food. As for the entertainment, this is local fado at its most authentic -- the singers and musicians have known each other for years, and the performance is heartfelt and genuine. Quite often, diners are invited to join in which makes the evening truly memorable.
