We ate here on our first night in Lisbon, and it was a fantastic way to start the trip! We had the bhaji which came with a sensational chutney, and some delicious prawn samosas to start. For mains we shared a Goan fish curry (perch)...More

This past Easter, my partner and I visited Lisbon for a few days. We stayed in the upper section of the old quarter with breathtaking views of that enchanting city. We explored its windy, cobbled streets up beyond the hulky cathedral. In one of its...More

We are Indians living in Paris where there are very few good Indian restaurants (or maybe none). We loved the food here. Authentic Goan food. We had chicken, crabs and prawns. Everything was excellent

It's not easy to find, this little gem, tucked away in an alleyway, but boy was it worth it! The food was amazing, I mean, it's not your standard curries, it's one of the best curries you'll ever have. And finish off with their mango...More

Great food and friendly service. If you can try the Balchão but only if you have a big tolerance to spices. The Xacuti is also very good. The place is small so don't get much hope of getting a table without a reservation.

Having a limited stay in Lisbon, I was careful to search out this very friendly and accommodating spot not far from the key spots of old town. I would recommend this intimate spot if you're after a break from all the more traditional dishes of...More

I've been to other, more sophisticated Goan restaurants, but Tentações de Goa, off the beaten track of tourist restaurants in Lisbon is a very good experience for the quality of the food and the friendly staff. The prawn samosas were very good and the crab...More
