This has got 3 stars purely for the architecture & design. Food really poor. Service slow. Ambiance good. Would not rush back.

Stopped in here because the outside was similar to a cafe I loved in Prague, however, the pastries are mass produced and the coffee is very....american. If you are in the square and need a rest, well I suppose, but for real coffee and food,...More

Historical cafe. Food was nice but service was a bit slow. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

That's a joke, of course..... Fernando Pessoa, the brass man seated outside his favourite cafeteria, wrote under four completely different names as four completely different personalities! Anyway, your here for the coffee in one of Lisbon's iconic venues. Order a bica and un pastel de...More
