As previous reviews have commented, this is a modern and trendy place that serves great food and offers a good selection of dishes. During Covid-19 things are very controlled and tables by reservation only, which is good. The food is served in various waves, which...we enjoyed, rather than everything together. The welcome and service are professional and courteous but slow with the drinks. Also, the food is served on cold plates so you have to eat fast if you want it whilst it is hot. Small wine list but all very good listings. With one or two improvements this would be an absolutely fantastic restaurant.More

Cool and funky. Hip and happening. Put that together with excellent food and you have an unmissable restaurant. I could see why the waiters could be considered a bit superior although ours was funny and relaxed. We devoured every dish and fought over some of...them. The only dud was the cauliflower which was surprising as it came recommended. Meh. We mixed vegetarian with seafood dishes. Delish.More

In our six days in Cascais, we had our best meal here. We did have to book several days in advance but it was well worth it. The restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food with a modern twist. There is plenty for vegetarians. It’s innovative and...interesting, and makes you want more. The decor is laid back, trendy and the perfect place to watch the world go by. Our waiter, Daniel, was totally charming too.More

I really like to go to Hifen. I don't even remember how many times I've been here already. I love the menu, every dish has a very nice taste combination. The service is really good and the appearance of the restaurant is very nice. You...definitely need to make a reservation, because they're always full. See you soon!More

Great location, wonderful view of the bay. The food is very good, tapas style so fun to share. Staff very friendly and the place has a good vibe with mix of young and older, tourists and locals. Reservation a must.

Super, nice place in super location with high quality food. A bit pricy but aligned with cascais prices. The quality is there and you have a lot of choice. You ll not be disappointed including the wines.

Hifen is beautifully located with a view on the old beach in central Cascais. Downstairs is a bar and upstairs more of a dining space, all very relaxed. the service, food (tascas, like Spanish tapas but better :-) ) are very good. All this with...a nice mixed crowd makes it a very nice place to pass some time. Prices are quite high.More

Hiphen is open everyday from lunch to dinner and I love places where I can go for a bite and a drink anytime of the day! The setting is simple and stylish, the view on the Cascais bay is one of the best you can...get. Cocktails are perfect and come fast. But what I like best is the food: refined but not complicated, the extensive menu carries a large variety of dishes to satisfy vegan, healthy eaters, and carnivorus equally. Portions are made to be shared, 3 dishes for 2 people is quite enough and like this you can taste different things in one evening. Puddings are also mmmmmh. It s all priced very fairly. Hiphen stands out in Cascais, it s of excellent quality, and a great change from the ”all portuguese” cuisine we usually find in the area.More
