Whilst out for a walk on Meia Praia due to the cloud we stopped here for lunch. Only have positive feedback. Prompt friendly service and the reviews about the house prawns are spot on. Garlic and piri piri and probably the best along with those at Ingrina one of our local beaches. Would certainly recommend and the views are of... More

Stopped here for lunch on Wednesday. I had the House Special Prawns which were plentiful, garlicky and buttery. Husband had the chicken stew which was lovely too. Great value for money, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit

The staff are outstanding and very friendly people. We come every year and as soon as we get to Portugal this is the first place we come. Overlooking the beach with a fantastic view. The special prawns are to die for. I could live of these!

We have been here twice and are planning to go again on our last day of the holiday as the food is superb and the staff are very friendly. The lady made space for us both times we visited and delivered excellent customer service. A group of 6 of us had the calamari (best calamari I'd tasted), the prawns (again... More

Sitting amongst the sand dunes it's a very special place, we haven't actually eaten here unfortunately apart from breakfast but we hear their fish soup is the best in Lagos we will be back to try very soon, the staff are lovely, a hidden gem in Meia Praia

We have been coming back to Bar Quim for three years and always get a lovely welcome. The restaurant is beautifully located directly on Meia Praia beach (at the #2 bus terminus or at the Meia Praia train station). There is a lovely seating area outside but also an inside area with air conditioning. Bar Quim is not 'fine dining'.... More

Always visit here on our annual visit to Lagos and always get a welcome and yes, lots of banter from the sisters. Food good and a lovely sunny spot to sit and often chat with people from many different countries. Looking forward to our next visit next February.

We visit many times. Best beach bar on the long and beautiful beach. Family run, with three generations there. The prawns are simply the best. The staff are very good and very funny. A great way to spend a long lunch, eating, drinking and watching the beautiful beach. "Bing, Bing" and will be back soon.
