Was there for dinner, the food in portugal is famous for being good and at reasonable prices and this restaurant is no exception, the food is extremely good at a very reasonable price.

Booked by our tour company and our guide who lives locally recommended it as well. Great meal and wine in friendly relaxed setting. You must taste the black pork as they are experts at cooking it so it melts in your mouth with lovely barbecue sear.

This place came heavily recommended. My husband and I are pretty health conscious. The healthy selections were non existent. I ordered the cod and asked how it was cooked. They said baked in oven with a little olive oil, salt and pepper with baked vegetables. Sounded delicious. The fish was quite tasty but the description should have been oil with... More

Visiting at the start of a cycling tour, we had a great dining experience here. Ambience is warm and welcoming. Food was outstanding from the copious starters to the local regional desserts. Service was attentive and friendly. Would happily return.

This was one of our stops in our trip through the pictoric region of Alentejo, it's very close to the center of town, the service is very attentive and they have an amazing wine selection. I loved all the local cured meats and cheeses, olives, potato salad, and Cazón stew. Excellent local fare, great service, good prices. It gets busy... More

Let me come right out and say that the food was really good, and typical of Alentejo, although with some modern twists. The portions are large (in fact, I was bursting at the seams from the starter and the mains, no room for dessert). You can find the most traditional Alentejo dishes, expertly prepared with good ingredients. Now what let... More

Have dinner for several times in this restaurant. A lot of favourite dishes such as black pork cheeks, dog fish soup, grilled sea bass etc. But recently had pork cheeks was not as good as before, and not very tasteful as usual. However, you always find a good dish which you'll like it. Anyway, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

When visiting Evora, we asked some locals for Dinner recommendations. Dom Joaquim was recommended as very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this fine dining restaurant. It was only a 7 minute walk from the Evora Ibis Hotel. We would recommend reservations as it quite popular with the locals. Will return on our next visit to Evora.

Everything I tasted was fantastic: the appetizers, the main dishes and the desserts. This restaurant honors the genuine Portuguese gastronomy from Alentejo region. Also the service is very efficient and the waiters very helpful. Enjoy as much as I did!
