It was already two in the afternoon when, on the recommendation of the Cafe Center team, we chose this place for lunch. Esplanade full (more Spanish than Portuguese), a burning heat but expensive satisfaction and was no reason for less. Although we have encountered a tired team (with the heat and at that time is understandable), they did their best to serve us with quality and sympathy.
We chose the nico of the house and it was wonderful, accompanied by fried potatoes, various kinds of mills, salad, grilled fruit and the quality of the meat. Wonderful really!! Price above average but for the quality of the food is understood.

Very positive experience. Typical Alentejo space with a very well achieved homely atmosphere. Initially we wanted to share two dishes but the waitress advised us to only have one dish for both of us as the portions are generous. So it was, we chose the wild bull kebabs which came accompanied by a wide variety of typical accompaniments. The food was wonderful and the service was very pleasant. Coming back another time.

I came with my family to have lunch at this restaurant, recommended by the place where we were staying.
We came with great enthusiasm as it is a restaurant that serves typical Alentejo food and it would be the first time we were going to try it.
I was very disappointed, first we were served by a very arrogant employee who served tables outside, then whenever we asked for something, she forgot and didn't bring it, my son accidentally spilled the juice on the table and she saw it and passed without providing help with cleaning the table.
Horrible service from this employee.
The food was quite salty too.

Interesting decoration in the restaurant with antique objects. The menu is large, the waitress was friendly, the service was quick and the portions were generous (there was so much left over what we ordered that we brought it home and was enough for many other meals). Everything we ate was excellent.
I liked the detail of the ladies' bathroom having a stain remover and a sink. I didn't like: the waiting time to be able to use the bathroom (there's only one), I didn't like that it was so cluttered and that it was close to the restaurant service support area; It will definitely be possible to improve. The environment is very pleasant but the service was bad 1 hour waiting for lunch. I ordered broken eggs with ham brings more potatoes than ham the ripped and burned eggs. Not to mention the price for broken eggs I paid 18.50€ very expensive for eggs with my dozen ham was still more meat than the ham that my husband ate. Excellent atmosphere and food.
The restaurant owner and staff are very friendly and attentive.
We ordered migas with spare ribs and toasted rooster.
The dishes are very delicious and well served.

While touring Alentejo, I ended up at this ill-fated restaurant, on August 8, 2023, they only found me a place outside, temperature around 40 degrees.

We arrived at the restaurant coming from Seville full of heat and in need of a meal..in the terrace there were still 3 vacant tables reserved ..this was 13.40! We spoke to a staff who asked us if we were booking..we said no and the answer was immediate: So we don't have tables!! He didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait a bit... he spat us the logo.

Efetivamente tínhamos todas as mesas reservadas, pelo que não poderíamos sentar os senhores, podendo chegar os clientes da reserva a qualquer momento. Temos compromisso com quem nos visita e com quem tem mesa reservada, mas se não temos lugar em determinados momentos, não podemos alargar o nosso espaço. Que culpa tem o nosso estabelecimento ou os nossos colaboradores por não existirem mesas livres e estarem todas reservadas?
