Suffolk Secrets recommend this place as dog friendly so we arrived for lunch with two well behaved dogs. To our question may we bring our dogs in a tremendously rude man "barked abruptly" - in the bar. We left - the entire lounge was empty. We want to the ship at Dunwich instead which was just fabulous. Very welcoming to... More

Went here for mid week dinner as it looked a lovely place. Not disappointed, the place is so quaint, low ceilings and a beautiful log fire burning in the grate. I had Liver and Bacon and it was delicious, well cooked and plenty of it with plenty of extras. I shall be back as this place must be stunning in... More

The Bell is an interesting quirky old English pub. The food however is outstanding. We ate there on a Saturday night, as a party of 11. The food was hot, tasty and arrived promptly. Highly recommended.

OMG, we had salt n pepper squid, curried parsnip soup and Homemade Chicken Liver Pate!!! It was all great, however the chicken liver pate was absolutely out of this world!! Whilst not great for ones cholesterol, it was on a par with Wolfram Finger's Mums recipe. Mr Finger's mums pate was previously out on its own, but now there was... More

Lovely village pub which does excellent pub food. Friendly and pleasantly eccentric landlord. Nice walks in the immediate vicinity. Very dog-friendly.

Nick and Trish have a special touch when it comes to service and attention to detail. The food is excellent. And the inclusion of the local events are charming and entertaining. Thank you, you kept my husband entertained and well fed while I was away for work. Cheers Leon and Helene
