Visited on 5/9 for our 29th wedding anniversary and it absolutely made our evening. Fantastic food and service and would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Saturday evening, 18nd of June 2016, Reservations were made almost three months ago, before going to dinner on this special occasion. Pity the rain spoiled this Summer evening. We could had dinner on the inner courtyard. A glass of fine champagne in the parlour, sets off an evening of culinary splendour. Our hostess, with Cotwolds roots, cares. Making our restaurant... Absolutely exquisite food in relaxed surroundings providing the perfect end on a first visit to Brugge. Not cheap at 260 euros for three courses for three people with only two of us drinking a glass if wine each, but each course was cooked and presented to perfection. Chef Guy came out say hello before and after the meal while hostess... More

Four of us went...the bill came to 240 euros for my 2 starters, three starters and mains and 2 x bottles of wine. Very atmospheric , nice couple running it; plenty of food. I thought the "shrimp" croquettes were full of a thick sauce with a few shrimps but his "filet mignon" (pork to us) turned out to be a... More

This is mainly a review for the owners, as we haven't visited the restaurant, yet! We have met them in a wonderful restaurant in Venice, and spent the evening chatting for more than two hours. They own their restaurant, where Guy is the chef for more than 30 years! We are sure that their restaurant is as nice as they... More

The hotel saff recomended this restaurant because they could not reseve the first one we will go because of being fully booked. So this is the second choice. We ordered €75 menu. House-made smalked salmon, foi-gras for appetizer and lobster bisque, loasted quail for main, and desert are all good. We enjoyed them but they are not over our expection... More

For our first night in Brugge we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Several weeks before the trip I made an email booking, and got an email confirmation that the booking had been accepted. On our first night, feeling hungry and looking forward to a lovely meal, we arrived to find the place was completely close - door locked... More

The chef and his wife - who is front of house - have been in business for over 30 years. We went on a very quiet evening which meant very personal service. The green and clear water glasses and a variety of plates - tailored to each course - were stunning. The food was also very good - and we... More

Went on New Years Eve. I don't think this restaurant lives up to the hype of reviews. The portions were minute the presentation nothing special. The expensive (cash only) menu really was nothing extraordinary. Wine was included in the price but no 'bubbly' offered at mid night. Come on it was New Year in a top restaurant! Expensive yes, great... More
