We all really enjoyed ourselves here. It was very busy and deservedly so. The oysters I had were some of the best I have ever had and the Chateaubriand was sublime. Matched with wonderful wines (not cheap!). Good service and close to the town centre.

We had the tomato soup and snails to start. The tomato soup was fantastic. Lovely umami flavour of celery. The mains were half lobster with rice and the Belgian filet with fries. Both excellent. The steak in particular was cooked to perfection and the quality...More

Our evening at Raymond's was our worst restaurant experience ever. We ordered chateaubriand. Both the meat and the way it was served was disgraceful - a plate of big clumps of meat with vegetables carelessly thrown onto the plate. The meat was tough and tasteless....More

We ran into what we thought was a bar to escape a rain shower. Inside was a very elegant restaurant so we decided to stay for lunch. The food was outstanding. I had the lobster and my partner the small sole fillets. Both were delicious...More
