I stayed in a nearby hotel, but did not want to pay $25 for breakfast and wanted a local experience. This was great. I came here 3 out of 4 mornings. A large latte means a HUGE bowl of coffee. Great fresh bread and pastries. I had a full breakfast one morning including in the shell soft boiled eggs. Customers... More

This little place is located in the historic city center Now I'm not a Organic / Biological food fanatic - if it tastes good and organic all the better, if not I'm ok with regular produce. This place though has a clear ethos, and to be honest it works. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Good sized portions and... More

Walking around Bruges is tiring! So, 4 hungry people stumbled upon this place looking for a light lunch. It was perfect. The restaurant is quite large and has lots of tables. We chose to sit at this huge long communal table. We all had the soup of the day and bread. The soup wasn't the best I've ever tasted, but... More

With travel time and clock change, we needed lunch at 4pm & found Le Pain Quotidien by accident. I'm familiar with one of the London branches but this was quite different - friendly, welcoming, a very varied menu available whatever the time. We had tartines for lunch - avocado & sourdough was mine (delicious) - I've forgotten what he had.... More

Stumbled over this by accident without realising it was a "chain" until we were inside. Despite it being very busy we easily found a free table at the back of the old converted house and a waiter arrived instantly. Friendly, spoke faultless English and took our order quickly and with good advice on what to have. Excellent salad and a... More

So our favourite coffe stop, the cigar place almost next door had removed it's outside seating in preparation for Autumn. How could they know this weekend was going to be 17 degrees. Instead we popped in here; having covered 15k walking around we needed refuelling. So we had between us, scrambled egg on avocado and sourdough..I think...leek soup....a tea, latte... More

This was a gem of a find when out shopping and wanting lunch. The ingredients are fresh, delicious and beautifully combined. Veggie and meat eaters in our group were equally happy with their meals (which is rare). The staff were fun and friendly. Their coffee and cakes were also delicious. It was so good we bought several pots of dips... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast in this charming cafe, great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Was very busy and the staff were apologizing for the wait, though we did not there was a problem at all.

Visited for breakfast one morning, it was excellent, so good we returned the next day....sadly not so good. Terrible service had to continuously ask for menus, cutlery. Whereas the previous day was so good. Food was nice, when we eventually got it. Maybe they were having a bad day. Coffee was lovely.
