Tucked down a side street just a few mins away from Grand Place this bar is possibly where the 'real ale' guide to beers in Belgium started. Lively, busy bar with fantastic service and huge choice of beers.

Without any doubt this is the very best bar in Bruges for beer. The service is also excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Ask the server about the beers on offer, the choice is extensive and the staff are very helpful in giving advice and guidance. There are some obscure and hard-to-find beers if you ask. Don't... Small place, but there beer choice is brilliant. Great atmosphere and friendly service. One of my favorite places to drink in Bruges. Salami and Cheese is also a winner.

You must hunt this bar down, unspoilt and natural. 300 plus beers with a great beer menu. I don't know if the woman who served us was the owner or not, but so knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

For anyone seeking beer variety this is the place to be. A fantastic selection of beers with service second to none in a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. This place does get busy so get there early or be prepared to wait for a table.

this one is a must for beer lovers. be prepared to be totally lost on the beer menu. very few nibbles available - but these are even more yummy. After the third beer I switched to a beer theme and drank only beers with a female relation... like Dikke Mathilda, Femme Fatale.... any other theme works also well. there is... More

This was a nice little bar with a nice selection of beer. The service was top notch and very friendly. It's mainly a bar however it has a small selection of snacks and finger foods. Highly recommend.

We wandered in and it looked quite cozy and fun. I asked if they had a gluten free beer and they had 2 to choose from! wow- first for everything! Prices are very reasonable and service was great. When you first look in it can be deceptive as it goes further back into two more rooms. We had some snacks... More

Hi, thanks for your visit and review. Indeed it can get very very busy in the bar , and yes when it is packed , it can happen that service is slower than on other times, but to say the waiters are bad, very bad , is just WRONG ! We are one of the few bars in Bruges that... More

Had a nice afternoon in here and a slightly less nice evening due to a bunch of loud Americans and Canadians who couldn't take the strength of the beer. Lots of seating in 3 rooms, amazing choice of ale and friendly staff to advise. Definitely worth a visit but maybe bring your earplugs ...

Hi thanks for your visit and review . Sorry , the evening wasn't quite as nice as the afternoon due to the noise. We really try to keep the noise down ( we only play classical music, no shouting or singing allowed in the bar , ....) and we tell people to be more quiet if they are too loud... More
