Went in here for a warm drink as we visited Bruges in February. Service was amazing - very quick and our drinks were well presented - I had hot chocolate which came as a make your own type drink… frothy milk (requested plant-based and I had oat milk which was great) and a whisk with chocolate buttons to melt, as well as a biscuit and marshmallow! My mum had coffee which came with a small pudding. Waiters so friendly - would highly recommend!

Had the loveliest lunch at Tonka! My mom and I ate in the inner courtyard, which was beautifully decorated with flowers curated by the owner's wife. Our food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommend Tonka to anyone looking for a delightful meal and impeccable vibes.

We stopped by (group of 10) for a quick lunch. The service was fine and drinks OK but the food was truly awful. The croque monsieur bordered on ridiculous - ham and cheese between a dry, partially toasted slice of bread (EUR 16). It was that bad we just had to laugh about it. I mean considering where this restaurant is located it should have been ashamed of delivering this to the table. Very bizarre, not even cheap and a million better options around in lovely Brugge. Avoid - the food doesn’t deserve your custom.

Hidden gem - great food - all freshly cooked - enjoyed smoked bacon and leek individual quiche. Finished with special “Mapleccino” - fantastic cappuccino delicately flavoured with maple syrup and cinnamon.

We had a lovely lunch at this cafe, which was a delightful respite from the more crowded areas. The food was exquisite, the owner was friendly, and the decor was beautiful. We loved the serenity of the inner courtyard which featured flowers provided by the owner’s wife, who is a florist.

Because we felt like quiche in Bruges we ended up at this place. The quiche turned out to be a lunch dish and we were there for breakfast, so it became fried eggs with bacon. Very nice though, really well executed. Nice coffee too. A bit quiet inside, could be a bit busier

A beautiful discovery both for the kitchen and the menu as for the setting. Delicious shrimp croquettes and excellent coffee to finish. Very warm welcome. We will definitely come back and recommend this address.

My friends and I came here to have breakfastbecause we had arrived very early at Bruges and there were no places open that could serve us something to eat, and oh god was this a good choice. The waiter was the nicest and prepared us big and very tasty breakfast for a very good price. I really recommend to go here!

Walking around Brugge we accidentally stepped into this cosy and quiet place. What a fantastic surprise the food was good with even a nice presentation. And the final touch of the small cup of vanilla cream with raspeberries given with the coffee was really a plus. Fully recommended.

Lovely place with friendly staff and great coffee!
We had a late breakfast and really enjoyed the pancakes and the vegetarian bagel (goats cheese, apple, walnuts and cress). Delicious food and a relaxed vibe.

We were struggling to find q good veggie for lunch. We stumbled across this place and so glad we did. The quiche I ordered was delicious, probably the best I've tasted and I've had a lot quiche as it's one of my favourite dishes. The decor was lovely. It also has nice additional things you can buy to take away such as homemade granola etc.

We were looking for a sit down place for Belgium waffles and came across this small restaurant. It was clean and bright. Seating both inside and out. No problem with speaking English or using a credit card. Restrooms.
We had waffle with fresh strawberries. The waffle was light and delicious. The strawberries were soooo good.
We saw meals that others ordered and they looked and smelled delicious also. Many happy eaters there that afternoon.

Having seen good reviews on TA this was the ideal place for a quick refreshment during a busy day of sightseeing. We were able to sit in a lovely open square within the cafe and enjoyed coffees and cake and crepe Normandy. Pity we didn’t have to return during our stay.
