A wise menu, in which the majority of products are local. Medium range prices, good food. The only concern: it was a bit weird to have to walk outside of the place to reach the toilet

Didn't stop and eat but our guide explained the history behind the building and we walked through it. Hams were hanging from the ceiling and everyone wanted to know if they were real. Yes!

Ate here twice while in Ghent and loved the food. Homestyle cooking with a Belgium twist. Great variety of dishes to choose from,

We went there to buy local specialities such as the famous mustard, beer and sweets. Open on sundays which is great as must of the other places were closed.

In fact, it was one of the best meals we had in Belgium, and also very reasonably priced (except for water, which seems hideously expensive everywhere in Belgium). We had the "taste of different hams" (7 euros),... More
