We ate there with a group of 15 (8 adults and 7 children) although the place I would say is usually best suited for more quiet venues. The setting are wonderful in a house's large back court with a lot of vegetation. The waitress was extremely kind. We really enjoyed our lamb curry and basmati rice which was tasty and... More

We were here for a couple of drinks and out of the six drinks we ordered, three glasses of them were dirty. Mine even had a brown substance at the bottom as it was not cleaned for a very long while. When we returned this drink the answer was unprofessional, like we were overreacting. When we got the bill it... More

This restaurant is located just off the crowded promenade. The food is very good, but a little bit pricey. But, it is Ghent after all... The service is a bit slow, but very polite, like Flemish can be. It looks like the place is being run by young people not quite used to the job. The outdoor setting is exotic,... More

Located in a rather beautiful back garden we considered ourselves luck to run into this place for lunch. Food is surprisingly good. Serious drawback is the extremely slow service. We notices guests with children getting gradually more upset at food did not show up. Other guest simply decided that the wait had been long enough and left. Furniture is so... More

I go there for the beautiful outdoor seating, and have drinks. But I never tried their food. It's little hidden cafe in the backside of their furniture shop. It's a nice stop for a quite time with your friends. It can get crowded sometimes in summer.

We were recommended to eat here by ur B&B host. The menu was limited but the food good. Not many people know about this place so even though it was Saturday evening we had no problem getting a table. It was a unique experience but well worth it!

That is a real secreat garden hidden in a lovely backyard. It is green, quaiet and cool in a hot days. Very relaxed atmosphere, nice and young staff make it a great place for a coffee/drink or lunch break. Menu is quite short with some tapas, quiche, salads and sandwiches. All fresh and tasty. Don't miss it while walking around... More

Very specific place in the side, narrow street, located in the courtyard, or even small garden. They offer very short list of some tapas and snacks and of course cold drinks, including sparkling Spanish cava. Ideal place for resting in the hot days in the break of sightseeing this beautiful town.

Can fully second all the positive reviews below. This really is a relaxed little oasis in the middle of the city. The menu is intriguing, the atmosphere has a touch of Thousand and One Nights. The service was very friendly. Make sure not to miss it when in Ghent.

Though it is situated right in the town centre, you don't hear cars. It's perfect to enjoy a good book, or the company of some friends, to chat, and to enjoy a drink or the good food. Reasonable prices, and the service is very friendly indeed.
