We were a large group of 35 hungry, varm and thirsty musiscians that had an excellent two course lunch with asparagus and onglé. Plenty of good wine and excellent service. Food was deliscious.

Ambiance is amazing, and price quality is very good. However I asked for my steak medium, and it came chewy and well done, while my boyfriend got it perfectly medium. It was a nice meals anyways and I will go back for sure.

I had dinner at t'Klokhuys two weeks ago and I'm still talking about how good this place is. The food is great, with a wide menu and off menu range of meat and fish dishes. I tried the baked salmon with tomato and basil sauce, it was excellent. The prices are in the average for a good restaurant in Gent.... More

We were in Ghent for the weekend and walked past this place, the menu outside look fine and had pescatarian choices. Inside it's a bit dark and feels like a cross between a Flemish beer hall and restaurant. Though we quite liked this. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good, not spectacular but good honest tasty food... More

Lovely little restaurant. Really traditional and very popular so make sure you book. Cosy atmosphere - great for a relaxed meal with friends or a romantic dinner. We went for the set menu option - €39.50 for 3 courses and half a bottle of wine. Excellent value for money and the food was superb. Really friendly staff - would def... More

We spotted this restaurant on our walk around Ghent and decided to come back when it opened at 6pm. By quarter past six the place was full and many continued to be turned away until we left at half seven. The restaurant had an attractive 3 course set menu for 31 euros but we ordered the beef stew and fettuccini... More

Visited here on a recommendation from two friends as part of a birthday weekend away for my Husband. Booked the table in advance & mentioned it was for a birthday celebration but when we arrived, it was as though we had just walked in off the street without a reservation & they just seated us anywhere there was a space,... The place is very small with only two people serving the tables. The food was very average and the steak was hard and didn't taste good. I wouldn't recommend this place.

On our first evening in Ghent we had some difficulty choosing a restaurant from the hundreds available. Many sites seemed to suggest that booking was essential. Many of the places appeared very high end and expensive. t'Klokhuys had a very quaint facade and so on that basis alone we walked in to a packed restaurant and asked for a table... More
