We visited this nice restaurant for dinner. We order a burger, a jamboneau and penne in the oven . All portions were tasty and quite large. The service was polite but a bit slow. A nice place to eat in Stavelot.

Nice food - hunting season specials, and pleasant professional service. Freshly made and just the right amount. Nice atmosphere.

Staff was familiar even though we are Asian and non French speaker. It was fine food and reasonable to visit.

I ate a trout and that was quick and well done. First they gave me an 'amuse gueule' to stimulate my taste.

Horrible experience. Unfriendly waitress told us that this is a restaurant, so we can't just have a coffee (probably we'd have ordered a meal after a coffee). No english menu card. They also can't speak english, just french. All this in a very unfriendly and lack of respect manner. Not recommended at all.

We went to Lou Gourmand as it was the only proper restaurant opened on a wintry Monday night. I ordered the intriguingly named 'Scallops served witha fondue of charcuterie from the Ardennes' and were pleasantly surprised by the balanced presentation and taste combination. You can tell that the chef has ambition. We were also treated with an amuse-bouse which put... More

We were there in a special Sunday (Liege-Bastogne-Liege byke race) and I thing they forgot this because the service were incompetent and I asked a croque madame and received a hot ham/cheese sandwich. Don't go!

You have 1.5 hours for lunch, and are determined never to eat a poor or indifferent meal again. TripAdvisor can't help you here because you're a technophobe who can't access the net... More

Our party of 4 dined here, all of us decided to try the trout, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is well decorated, tending to modern. The service was attentive, the meals very well presented and very tasty, plenty to eat. Recommend this to all visitors.

We spent the bank holiday weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix – camping – and on Saturday evening we were very much looking forward to a well cooked, proper meal rather than the food we had consumed so far, all being served in bread. Having looked at the various eateries on offer in Stavelot my boyfriend zeroed in on this... More
