A small bistro but with lots of charm! The service was perfect. The dishes are typical bistro but the taste is very nice and the waiting time is limited.

Bistro '58 saved the day. Trying to find a restaurant in Hasselt that can accommodate a group of 12 at short notice on a Saturday night for a relatively late booking (20:30) isn't easy as many restaurant kitchens seem to close around this time. The owner Vincent and the waitress were both very welcoming and helped us go through the... More
I come here a lot, and it is one of my favorite places to eat in Hasselt. There is a big selection of suggestions, and everything is always very good. Price is ok, and the food is great! A definate must visit in Hasselt, for a quick snack or an extended meal.
Small and cosy restaurant in Hasselt. Not many people there when we came for dinner so the serving went fast. Good tasting meat
This restaurant is closed since several months and there are no signs of a reopening or a refurbishment.
i love the vegetarian roulade with eggplant - supertasty! also for a quick lunch the wrap with chicken and fresh pineapple is great nice ambiance, great staff - good value for money
This bistro is based on the Expo '58 theme and has several references to the 1958 world exposition in Belgium. They serve sandwiches, cold and warm dishes as well as breakfast. The breakfast is pretty good. Fresh fruit juice, bacon and eggs, unlimited access to bread and good coffee or hot chocolate at the right price. Don't expect fried food... More
Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff, also good to have a cup of coffee/tea or nice beer in the afternoon. So far I did not try yet other meals from their menu

Very fresh and a good size portion. It is quite expensive (€5,50), but it was nice and healthy. You have I think 20 kinds of juices, from the regular orange... More
This restaurant has a large selection in pasta and salads. I, however, always eat their wok dish as I like it a lot. The service is correct. It is cosy to sit inside. Outside, in summer, their terrace is quit close to the circle road around the town and so the road botters a bit.
